v  ADMISSION

The Malaysian Immigration Department requires all international students to apply for student pass before they enter Malaysia. Legenda Education Group will apply for the student pass from the Malaysian Immigration Department.

In order to apply for admission into Legenda Education Group, students are required to;

·                     Complete the International Student Admission Form and attach the

following documents.

·                     2 copies of student’s passport (including the blank pages, A4 size paper)

·                     10 copies of students photograph (passport size)

·                     2 copies of academic certificates (certified true copy)

·                     Application Fee / Registration & Visa Processing Fee / Medical Insurance

Fee of RM2500

·               All Student’s must undergo a complete medical check-up before traveling to

                          Malaysia. The Health Examination Report or the Medical Check-Up Certificate

must be submitted together with the above documents.

(Application will be processed upon receiving all the necessary documents and the proof

of payment mode)

v  VISA & IMMIGRATION.

·                     Upon approval of the Student Pass, Legenda Education Group will send

you an approval from the Malaysian Immigration Department together with the college letter. For immigration clearance, you will need to produce the approval letter upon arrival at the airport.

·                     If the regulation in your country require you to obtain an Entry Visa

before leaving the country, you will have to make such application at the nearest Malaysian Embassy / Consulate Office. Otherwise, you may proceed to Malaysia without a visa. However a visa will be issued to you after you arrive in Malaysia.

·                     If you arrive in Malaysia before the student pass is approved, you may

have to pay RM500 to the Malaysian Immigration Department as processing fee for a Journey Performed Visa. If you are in these circumstances, i.e. your student pass has yet to be approved, and then you are REQUIRED to enter Malaysia with a return air ticket. Without the return air ticket, you will not be allowed to enter Malaysia.

·                     Students from Africa Nations are required to obtain Yellow Fever Vaccination at least 10

days before their travel date. The Yellow Fever Vaccination Card must be carried along with them as it will be checked at the Malaysian Immigration at the airport.

v  AIRPORT PICK-UP

·                     Flight Details

Please notify us via e-mail of your arrival at least 10 days before your departure date. The following information is required.

-          Date of arrival

-          Time of arrival

-          Flight number

·                     Immigration Clearance

Please produce the letter of approval from the Malaysian Immigration Department at the Immigration Checkpoint. An officer from the college will receive you at the airport’s immigration clearance point. The office will assist you in immigration clearance. Please take note that you will not be able to clear immigration without the presence of an officer from the college.

·                     Transfer to Campus

You will then be transported and checked into the hostel apartments within the campus. This airport pick-up service is provided at no extra cost for you as part of the student services of Legenda Education Group.

v  MEDICAL INSURANCE

All international students of Legenda Education Group are required to subscribe to medical insurance at a cost of RM300 per year.
